Sports have always been a big part of my life, starting at a young age. After high school I continued running and playing team sports here and there, and learned how to surf. I joined the United States Navy at age 23, where I was stationed in sunny San Diego and completed a deployment where I was spending lots of time in the gym, which really set me up for my career in fitness.
I completed a E.M.T class in 2010, But that wasn't where my heart was. So I use what I learned there, in training. I am certified in CPR and AED's, and know how to quickly respond to a medical emergency.
When I am not in the gym, I am out running miles in the street, hiking, playing softball, picking up a quick game of basketball. I also enjoy sleeping! If theres a chance for a quick nap, I will take it!!
My resume's summary of skills include:
• Exercise Programming • Exercise Physiology • Functional Anatomy and Bio-mechanics • Assessments and Fitness Testing • Nutrition and Weight Management • Basic Emergency Procedures and Safety • Program Administration • Human Behavior/Motivation • Group Training • TRX • Strength & Conditioning • Youth Fitness • Exercise Therapy • Aquatic Therapy
